About NorthFunding
NorthFunding was founded by our Director Tom Sutcliffe, who has spent over 10 years working in financial services, specialising in alternative finance providers. He's worked predominantly with lenders focused on simplifying commercial finance, with products and partnerships that advance funding considerably faster than traditional lenders.
Tom saw the frustration of customers who applied for finance that didn’t suit them or their business, versus those that had explored options with industry experienced brokers first. So after 10 years working across multiple financial products, with lenders, banks, accountants and brokers, Tom turned his experience and skills into NorthFunding, enabling UK businesses to explore, understand, and secure bespoke funding, that’s right for them.
As Director of NorthFunding, Tom works as an Appointed Representative of Magna Money, giving him and his clients, access to 150+ lenders and 100's of potential financial solutions.
Funding options for businesses can change on a daily basis, so combining Tom's experience with the support of Magna Money, NorthFunding enables the very best funding advisory for business owners across the UK.
Outside of work, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, or trying to improve his golf swing, when the weather allows - which in the North West of England, is not as often as he’d like.
